"Had a lovely after work dinner and enjoyed their to go Tuesday special. Over 10 taco filling options. Staff were laid back but very friendly. The food was wonderful. I really liked the tortillas. This place is family owned by an Annapolis couple from Oaxaca."

"Grateful to have Picante in Annapolis. It took over the spot of a truly terrible restaurant - the difference from El Toro to Picante is incredible. The food is better, the building is cleaner, and it feels like you’re being taken care of instead of being shuffled out. Quality food and quality people. Thank you for making town better, Picante. Whoever does their photography is spectacular too!"

"My wife and I tried this place for the first time on a Friday night. When we entered, the hostess told us that it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. No one was sitting at the bar so we decided to sit there instead. The bartender was very attentive and took our orders immediately. We both got a large margarita, which is definitely a good deal for how big the margarita glass is. The margarita was enough to last us the entire time we were there and was really good. We both ordered the birria quesadillas and they were absolutely amazing! These might have been the best birria quesadillas I have ever had. The service and the amount of time it took for us to get our drinks and food was extremely fast. My only complaint is it is a pretty small place and does not have a lot of seating so it can get packed pretty easily. Luckily we were able to just sit at the bar. Overall this is a great Mexican restaurant!"

"We stopped into Picante for Taco Tuesday and instantly understood why the place hums with regulars. At $2.50 a taco, you expect “good for the price” — but these were legitimately incredible. Perfectly seasoned, generous fillings, fresh tortillas, and that balance of spice and citrus that makes you pause mid-conversation. The staff was friendly, the vibe easy, and the food came out fast without losing quality. For us, Picante now sits firmly at the top of the list for Taco Tuesdays in Annapolis. Five stars, no hesitation."

"Yummy food, great service. I'll definitely be going back. It was surprisingly empty for a Sunday, which worked on our favor as service was fast. Food was delicious"

"100 percent would return back for the chips and salsa. But if you really want to warm up on a cold MD day then the red posole with pork is where it’s at. My heart and belly is full. Don’t miss out on this gem in Annapolis."

"Stopped for taco Tuesday and arsada and chicken were delicious. The salsa is delicious and has the right kick to it. Classic margarita was ok, overpriced at $18. Would have expected more"
